A person who takes an independant stand.
He is a maverick in protecting that idea.

4. Bourgeois -
A middle-class person.
Bourgeoises are the majority in Malaysia.

5. Cartographer -
A mapmaker
He hired a cartographer to build a map of the new-found island.
